On this Saturday the Cauberg in Valkenburg coloured red, yellow and grey for a short moment when, during the Amstel Gold Race (the Tour Version), the cyclists of the combined team of Bumaco and Plaisier, crossed the finish line. And this year without forced hospitalisation afterwards.
It is remarkable that the major part of the employees of Bumaco participated in this event. Almost 60% of the staff was motivated and have been training dynamically prior to the race. And it paid off … all participating Bumaco-ers finished in time. Despite the really terrible weather conditions during the race. This underlines not only the perfect physical condition of our people, but also their perseverance … even if the distance was only 38 miles.
