At the moment a lot of people struggle with some extra pounds … due to corona pandemic they have to stay at home and are not exercising enough. At Bumaco we experience more or less the same, but then with regards to our stock of tubes. The tonnage is increasing – just as it was our intention to grow up to ± 4.000 tons – and we had to search for more room.

The horrible virus that is currently plaguing the world doesn’t pass by Bumaco either. The measures, taken by our government, are necessary prevent an uncontrollable spread of the COVID 19. And we fully support those measures.

On November 1st is was exactly 25 years ago that the company Bumaco – at that time BMC Bumaco – was registered at the Chamber of Commerce. A young salesman decided to be independent from others in the future and became an entrepreneur. Mainly because he choose freedom over the security of a steady income. Freedom to determine himself “who, what, where” he would like to deal with.

In fact, we are somewhat proud. As a specialist, off course we are used to work to the high and strict demands of our customers. And, of course, our demands for our suppliers and manufacturers are also very high. But in between those two, there is an organisation, which we also want to work to these same high demands us, Bumaco ourselves.

This day we celebrate the decade our Office Manager Iris den Boer is part of our Bumaco team. Not an extraordinary accomplishment as the average at Bumaco is almost 16 years at the moment, but … still something to congratulate both Iris as the company.
